I’m excited to have the opportunity to deliver a programme of work which will enable transformational change for the business.”Having previously worked within FMCG and Telco industries in technology roles, Michelle joined The Warehouse Group in 2006 to lead the team that delivered the first transactional version of thewarehouse.co.nz. She has held several roles within the group since then and was appointed Chief Digital Officer in May 2018. Michelle is responsible for leading the development and execution of digital customer experiences and data strategy across the group as well as Customer Care (contact centre).
Prior to becoming Chief Digital Officer Michelle was Executive General Manager Data - Group, and Executive General Manager Marketing for The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery. In her role leading the marketing and data teams, she was responsible for driving strategic and tactical marketing objectives and the development and delivery of The Warehouse Group data strategy including technology and team capability with a focus on governance, data platform, advanced analytics and personalisation. and the first transactional version of www.thewarehouse.co.nz. Focused on customer experience, Michelle has proven success in delivering business results and real change in the rapidly evolving consumer and media landscape beyond traditional & digital marketing, into technology, analytics, and data insights. In her role she leads the development and execution of the Data Strategy across the Group.
