Black Friday deals at The Warehouse Group

One of the biggest events in the retail calendar year is here and Kiwis all over New Zealand are getting ready to hunt down some great deals in the lead up to the holidays.

Black Friday has its origins in the United States. It’s gained momentum here in recent years and has fast become the new start date for Christmas shopping. Falling on the 27^th November, just under a month out from Christmas Day, its popularity has grown as more retailers jumped on board. Today, Black Friday sales are now significantly bigger than those on Boxing Day.

2020 is the eighth consecutive year The Warehouse Group has run Black Friday deals across its brand portfolio as customers look to secure great buys in the lead up to Christmas and the summer holidays.

“This year we’ve stepped up our offers even further with great deals across The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7 in stores and online, as well as at TheMarket.com” says Jonathan Waecker, Chief Customer Officer at The Warehouse Group.

Customers can take advantage of Black Friday’s amazing deals across popular categories like toys, tech, outdoor and appliances. Online marketplace, TheMarket.com will also be offering deals of up to 50% on selected items across more than 300 brands, together with an additional 10% off sitewide. Customers choosing to pay with Zip can be in to win one of seven Playstation5 consoles.

“Customers use Black Friday as an opportunity to get a jump start on their Christmas shopping. We’ve worked hard to make sure sufficient stock levels are maintained through the busiest retail period leading into Christmas,” says Mr Waecker.

“Delays in international shipping has meant we’ve taken additional measures to ensure we can easily meet customer demands during the peak period, starting with Black Friday. We are confident with product availability. We have more stock coming, and will have stock arriving daily, right up until Christmas,” he said.

The Warehouse’s Black Friday sale will be available online from 8pm on Wednesday 25 November and in store from Thursday 26 November until Sunday 29 November and with a huge range of toys under one roof. The Warehouse is the perfect place for picking up the kids’ Christmas gifts early at great prices. Deals include $151 off the LEGO Star Wars Droid Commander; while the Razor electric scooter will be $299, a saving of $50.

Warehouse Stationery’s deals will be available online from 6pm on Wednesday 25 November and in store from Thursday 26 November until Sunday 29 November. If you’re after something special, the sale will include personalized square canvases; and Uniti blank stretched canvases, panels and boards at 50% off.

Noel Leeming’s hot deals on electronics and appliances will be available online from 7:30pm Wednesday 25 November and in-store Thursday 26 November until Monday 30 November. On offer is up to 30% off all whiteware and cookware; and Dyson V10 Animal+ Cord Free Vacuums for only $799.
