Women's Refuge Launches a New Shielded Web Portal

Women’s Refuge is one of our community partners and we have been working with them on a number of initiatives to help those who are experiencing family violence to get the help and support they need.

We have launched a new shielded web portal on thewarehouse.co.nz, where people can find advice on how to safely address an abusive relationship. Because it’s untraceable the activity won’t appear in their web browser history. This is really important as perpetrators of violence often track their victim’s online activities. As we have the largest retail website in New Zealand this is a unique way that we can provide a safe and secure way for people to get help. The portal can be accessed by clicking on the icon located at the bottom of our website under Corporate.
